History
Hailsham MelodyTimes started life in the 1980s as the Hadlow Down Organ Club, very successfully run by Mick and Carol from EmJay
Music. It did well and in January 2000 moved to the Pavilion, Hailsham, a restored cinema, around 10 miles north of Eastbourne.
More recently, Mick and Carol have moved to North Norfolk, handing over the reins of the club to a new team and the club moved to
the Charles Hunt Centre, which provides a more cosy setting for the monthly gatherings. During 2019, due mainly to ill health, the
existing team decided it was time to step down, so the club was to close, but we are delighted that MelodyTimes Concerts has been
able to step in to keep friendly musical evenings going for a few years longer, with our final concert scheduled for October 2022.
